Michelle Grech
Michelle, who is a Partner at Hughes O’Dea Corredig, has been advising and assisting our clients since 2002. Michelle has detailed tax knowledge to assist businesses and individuals with their business planning, structuring and taxation issues at achieve their desired outcomes. “I’m always listening to client’s needs to help to develop and grow their business which is very rewarding.” Michelle is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and hold a Bachelor of Commerce. Michelle is also an Authorised Representative under our Limited Financial Planning License and provides superannuation and estate planning advice

Lisa Papachristoforos
Lisa Papachristoforos is Partner of Superannuation Services at Hughes O’Dea Corredig, which was awarded the 2020 SMSF Firm of the Year. She has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) both from RMIT University, is a CPA, CA, AFP (Financial Planning Association of Australia), Registered Tax Agent, Authorised Representative listed on ASIC’s Financial Adviser Register, and SSA (SMSF Association Specialist SMSF Adviser). She holds positions on the FPA Professional Standards and Conduct Committee and the CPA Victorian Public Practice Committee. She is currently studying towards her CFP, was awarded the 2019 Superannuation Specialist Accountant of the Year and was a finalist within the same award category in 2020. Lisa enjoys spending time with her young family and contributing articles for the online platform Eureka Report as their SMSF expert.

Trevor Baxter
Trevor is a Chartered Accountant who has a wealth of experience in accounting practices both in client advice and practice management. For 25 years he was a founding partner in an inner suburban six partner practice advising clients on taxation and business structures. Trevor now specialises in management of accounting practices and we are fortunate to have him on board as part of our team. Along with Denis Grant he is still celebrating the greatest Grand Final win of all by the Bulldogs in 2016.

Peter O’Dea
Prior to becoming part of the Hughes O'Dea Corredig team in 1987 Peter had many years’ experience with the Australian Taxation Office which included experience in complex audit assignments. As a result, his specialist areas include tax and accounting. Peter holds a Diploma of Business Studies and is a member of the National Tax Agents Association.

Denis Grant
Denis joined the Hughes O’Dea Corredig team in 1996, and is dedicated to the important details of all things tax and accounting related – and assisting our clients in maximising their offsets and deductions. ‘It’s really about helping people get the best results and making the complex accounting process as simple and efficient as possible.’ Denis holds a Diploma of Business Studies and is a Fellow of the National Tax And Accountants Association . He is an avid Western Bulldogs supporter and was awarded a Life member of the Western Bulldogs in 2019.

Dominic De Pasquale
Dominic joined the team at HOC in early 2020, and is at his best when he is working side by side with clients to help them achieve success by providing accurate and timely taxation and business advice. Dom has extensive experience across many sectors including the Construction, IT & Rideshare industries. He believes that the role of an accountant is to be a business owner’s “right hand man” to help guide them through any issues they may face. He is an avid Western Bulldogs supporter and is currently in a tug of war with his father-in-law for his 3-year-old son’s footy allegiance.

Having gained valuable business experience in varied accounting and tax roles over the years, Pat provides our clients with specialist advice in relation to their SME business needs and assisting them with complex financial decisions as well as more common taxation matters. ‘Having attention to detail & sound technical knowledge, along with listening to people and being able to help discover what they’re truly after in both business and life goals are important in our role and helping others to reach their financial ambitions.’ Pat is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting & Finance.

Renato Manias
Renato Manias is a Financial Adviser at Hughes O’Dea Corredig Private Wealth with over eight years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry. Winner of the Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award for achieving the highest score in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) program, Renato is passionate about guiding his clients through their financial affairs in the simplest possible way. As well as being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Renato holds a Master of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional, a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce from The Australian National University and is an Accredited Aged Care Professional™. In his spare time, Renato is a keen adventurer and long-distance runner who likes to spend weekends and holidays out of town exploring the world.

Karlyn Read
Since 2013 Karlyn has created favourable tax and SMSF solutions, and from the multi-facetted perspectives of compliance, accounting, tax, financial planning and audit. She is an integral member of the 2020 named SMSF Firm of the Year. Karlyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Accounting. Currently passing the highest standard for advice, FASEA Exam and an Authorised Representative listed on ASIC’s Financial Adviser Register.

Louisa has been part of the HOC team since 1995 and has worked with many clients across different entity types. She has developed a solid working relationship with her clients and is respected amongst her colleagues. Her client knowledge allows her to service our small and medium size business clients. Louisa is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting. She is professional and friendly and available to help clients fulfil their business obligations. Outside of work, Louisa has three children who keep her busy with sporting activities.

Starting with us in June 2006, Olivia is an accountant within business services. Her abundance of client knowledge allows her to uniquely service our small and medium-size business clients on not only a technical level but also from a personal level, creating long-term connections that go beyond the balance sheet. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and holds her CPA. Outside of work she has two young children and enjoys cooking.

Peter joined the firm in October 2019. He is a CPA qualified accountant. He enjoys working with the professional and friendly HOC team and is fulfilled when helping clients get the most out of the available opportunities. Being a part of the client’s journey, seeing them grow and knowing that he had a meaningful input in that development is the biggest reward he gains in his job. Outside of the work, he is a supporter of San Antonio Spurs, a Lego fan and likes collecting stamps.
